Growing up in Tokyo, I was the kid obsessed with things that most of my friends didn’t relate to American R&B, Pop, hip-hop, and sitcoms I barely understood. But even then, they all inspired me.

As I got older, I realized I have a knack for finding inspiration in the smallest details—whether it’s a line from an advertisement, a song lyric, a speech, or even a conversation with friends. These moments shape sharpen my perspective and life.

During my college time, I studied advertising in the U.S., a place where I had always dreamed of being. One day, one of my closest professor gave me a piece of advice when I struggled in the creative class and that has impacted my life ever since:

"You can only write or ideate based on what you feel and experience. What is your experience?"

It sparked something in me. It made me see the power of ideas, and how my diverse experiences can be transformed into meaningful, inspirational work. That’s what drives me into the advertising world and dream of making something inspire others.
